Also supposedly, per my Honda dyno guy that I saw 2 weeks ago, if you replace the rocker arms and cams in the motor you have, you get 90% of the benefit to going to an RSX-S motor. Yeah, you can install exhaust rockers on the intake side, and then whatever the "big" VTEC profile is becomes your only cam profile.

It made 160/130 on hondata 91octane base mape. should make more with tuning. internally stock EP3 civic motor not RSX. That base manifold is killing you.
Aug 2, 2018. #11. 2005 ep3 civic type r with just over 82,000 miles on it, Has been serviced by Honda up to 40,000 then a few receipts from local garages, I was hoping that the chain and tensioner would be still be alright for a bit as it is pulling really strong in vtec and only makes the noise in the morning after it's been sitting over night.
