I barely have enough mats for an iron pickaxe, im definitely hours away at least from turning him back. So I googled how to prevent zombies from despawning, and according to the wiki, mobs with items don't despawn. I tried throwing a wood pickaxe by this ZV's feet, but he wont pick it up.
